Baileys Hot Chocolate

What is it?
A glass of traditional hot chocolate with a serving of Baileys Original Irish Cream, topped off with whipped cream and shavings of chocolate flakes.

Where is it from?
Baileys Irish Cream is an Irish whiskey and cream based liqueur, made by Gilbeys of Ireland.

What does it taste like?
It is easy to jazz up your cup of hot chocolate with a dash of the sweet and creamy Baileys Original Irish Cream. Mixing in other Baileys varietal flavours like almond and coffee will allow you to fine tune your hot chocolate just the way you like it.

Tip

For an extra treat in your Baileys Hot Chocolate you could go all American and add a few mini marshmallows instead of whipped cream and chocolate flakes.

Ingredients

  • 50ml of Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • Hot chocolate drink
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate flakes 

Method

1. Start by pouring the Baileys into your favourite mug.
 
2. Follow the instructions on the packet to make up a serving of hot chocolate drink.
 
3. Pour the hot chocolate into the mug with the Baileys and float the whipped cream on top.
 
4. Sprinkle chocolate flakes over the top and indulge yourself.
